Chiefs' Oath

I (state your name) am now a Chief Master Sergeant

I have mastered the technical knowledge and leadership abilities required of a Chief

I will be afforded privileges not awarded other enlisted members

I will freely accept responsibilities beyond those specifically contained in Air Force Instructions

I have no duty hours, I am where I must be to accomplish the mission

I am an example by my involvement in activities related to the Air Force

I will, by my bearing, behavior, and integrity be above reproach

It is my duty not only to enforce standards, but by example, be the standard all ranks emulate
